Building agency capability inside NEOM’s $500bn mega-project

NEOM is a $500bn Saudi mega-project and one of the world’s most ambitious development programmes, creating a new economic region built around future cities, technology, tourism, industry and new forms of urban living.

I worked for nearly two years with Nuno, a senior product leader responsible for creating an internal agency-style function within NEOM. Our work focused on perspective, prioritisation, leadership decisions and the operational reality of creating agency-like delivery inside a large, complex organisation.

Over nearly two years, I provided strategic mentoring, external perspective and challenge as he worked through priorities, leadership decisions and the realities of building agency capability at scale.
